Hi, I'm Victoria.

Mum of two, recovering label-ignorer, and the person who reads the back of every bottle so you don't have to.
I'm Victoria — mum to two small, sticky humans and the founder of Mother's Toolkit. A few years ago I realised I had no idea what was actually in the products I used around my kids every single day. I started reading ingredient lists, asking awkward questions, and testing the gentler swaps that people kept recommending. Mother's Toolkit is where I write it all down in plain English — what's worth switching, what's marketing, and what I'd genuinely put in my own home.
What we do
There's a lot of noise in 'eco' cleaning — some useful, a lot of marketing. My aim is to cut through it with calm, checkable guidance: read the ingredient list, name the standard, do the price-per-wash maths. I'd rather give you the tools to judge than tell you what to think.
What I won't do
- Make health or safety claims I can't stand behind.
- Pretend a product is independent of us when it isn't.
- Call something 'toxic' or 'dangerous' to scare you into a purchase.

My most-read guide scores the popular laundry sheets head-to-head.
